Oscar Pistorius Charged with Murder

The world was shocked was news broke today that the double amputee olympian known as the “Blade Runner” was charged with murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. The body of Reeva Steenkamp was found in the couple’s home, located in a gated community in Pretoria, South Africa.

Kobe Bryant’s Divorce Called Off

Love him or hate him, any NBA fan knows that Kobe Bryant is without a doubt one of the greatest to ever play the game. Sure, one can argue he’s no Michael Jordan but it would be hard to discount his countless career milestones that include 5 NBA championships and 2 Olympic gold medals. Unfortunately, much like virtually every other celebrity, Kobe has had some trouble in his personal life. Those who have been following the basketball star for nearly a decade will remember the sexual assault allegations that were brought up in the summer of 2003. However, despite the fact that Bryant did admit that he cheated on his wife during all of this, the couple remained together for quite some time. In fact, it wasn’t up until December of 2011 that his wife, Vanessa Bryant, filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. At the point this announcement was made, few were surprised if only for the fact that it seems all celebrity marriages end in ruins sooner or later. The fact that Kobe had a run in with the law that focused heavily on him being unfaithful to his wife was only icing on the cake.
