Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty Announce Engagement

Although this couple has only been dating for eight months, it is now official that Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty are engaged! Cat and Patrick, who have been friends for several years, are madly in love and claim that they’ve found “The One,” despite their quick engagement.

Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty celebrated their engagement on Sunday August 30th at The Goring Hotel in London, with their close friends and family members. Cat, 35, and Patrick, 41, were apparently spotted on the terrace of the hotel, drinking champagne and making toasts.

Deeley, the 5’9″ host of Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance was seen proudly flaunting her engagement ring, which features a large, sparkling diamond, this past Sunday at The Goring.

The couple met each other in 2002 and became friends soon after. Rumours surfaced that Cat Deeley and Patrick Kielty were dating at the beginning of this year, but they waited until the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in May to announce their relationship publicly. Soon after the announcement, Patrick moved into Cat’s £1.7million home in Beverly Hills and they have been living together ever since.

Hopefully this couple’s relationship will continue to stay strong, unlike many of the other tumultuous relationships that many celebrities have been having lately.
