Natalie Portman Weds Benjamin Millepied

Natalie Portman is now a happily married woman. The Oscar award-winning actress tied the knot with Benjamin Millepied, a professional dancer and choreographer from France. The two were said to have been dating for the last two years. The event happened at the lovely Big Sur coast in California. It was attended by family and friends including their 14 month old son, Aleph. Some of the popular friends who also attended the event include; Macaulay Culkin and Ivanka Trump.

Their love story is unique; the two first met during the shoot of the Black Swan in 2009. By then Millepied, 35, was working as the chief choreographer for the film. That is when they fell in love and have been together ever since. In December 2010, the couple revealed that they had been seeing each other for a while and they were expecting their first child.

Sources close to the couple also reveal that Portman might as well change her nationality to French, just like her husband, Mr. Millepied. She was quoted saying, “It is now possible for me to change my nationality to French. This will be a great achievement for me since it was part of my father’s dreams.” She also explained how she spent most of her life in Paris and that is why her father named her Natalie in honor of Gilbert Becaud’s song.
