New York Jets Quarter Back Mark Sanchez & Eva Longoria Call It Quits

Due to its nature, it’s not uncommon for the tide of battle to change very rapidly in a football game. In fact, we’ve seen teams who were statistically the underdog come out on top more times than we can count – that’s just part of the game. However, a team continuously chalks up losses, individual players are often times put under a microscope. If you’ve been following this year’s NFL season, you’ll know that New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has met this criteria. In fact, even though he’s been in the league for a few short years, many are saying he’s in the biggest slump of his career. Add to that pressure from just about everyone to substitute Sanchez with newly signed quarterback Tim Tebow and it’s easy to see that things aren’t all peaches for Sanchez.

But, regardless of his lackluster performance on the field as of late, the general consensus has been that he’s doing quite well for himself in his personal life. Earlier this year reports popped up that said Sanchez and then 19-year old Sports Illustrated supermodel Kate Upton were hitting it off – much to the envy of men everywhere.

In more recent times, Sanchez and television personality/model Eva Longoria had linked up. To our knowledge, the relationship had been going fine as nothing was said to suggest any turmoil had arisen. However, things have taken a turn for the worst for Sanchez today as reports suggest that the two have officially broken up. Nothing has been said in terms of what caused the break up, but seeing how Eva’s representatives were the ones to break the news, we’re going to assume it wasn’t Sanchez’s decision until anything further is said.
