Tina & Joe Simpson File For Dirovce after 34 Years

After 34 years of marriage, the parents of Jessica Simpson and Ashley Simpson have filed for divorce. According to a family spokesperson, the couple have decided to end their marriage.

Tina Simpson and Joe Simpson married in 1978, and were together until September 24th of this year, when the couple filed for divorce in Texas. Apparently the divorce came about due to incapable personalities and conflicts within the marriage. Strangely only a month before the divorce, Joe Simpson had tweeted while in Hawaii that he was spending his anniversary with his beautiful wife of 34 years.

Joe Simpson, who many refer to as Papa Joe has been influential in the lives of both of his daughters. He has worked as a pastor and a youth minister, during which time he was also the manager for both of his daughters.

Both Tina Simpson and her husband Joe were featured on their daughter’s reality shows. So what brought on the divorce? Some are speculating that it may have something to do with Joe’s troubles with the law after he was arrested in Los Angeles on August 4th 2012 for drunk driving. While he has plead not guilty and plans to fight the charges in court, such a charge undoubtably has resulted in problems within the family.
