Tom Crusie & Katie Holmes Keeping it Civilized

There’s a point in just about everyone’s life where they must say goodbye to their loved one and move on to greener pastures. In some cases the benefits of a break up may be grand but the process itself is rarely a simple one. In the world of celebrities this is very apparent with many different highly publicized break ups hitting the scene. Take Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries for example. After what seemed like a blink of an eye the two split with the entire processed covered obsessively by the media. A more recent example happened between Twilight co-stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart who made the split due to infidelity. In both cases, the break up seemed to spur an onslaught of drama between all parties involved and its generally assumed that none of them are remaining on good terms.

However, lasting hardships isn’t always the case when it comes to celeb break ups especially when a child is involved. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes seem to be showing us this following their recent divorce. As you’re sure to know, the two A-Class celebrities recently split up seemingly out of nowhere. While many pointed towards Cruise’s focused faith in the church of Scientology, there are many different reasons while the divorce happened – many of which we probably don’t know.

But, despite this drama, it seems that Cruise and Holmes are keeping their cool for one reason, and one reason alone – Suri. According to recent reports the two are keeping in regular contact while maintaining a civilized relationship all for the sake of their child.

This definitely pays homage to the maturity of the two as it can’t ever be hard to keep in touch with lost loves especially when said love lasts as long as Cruise and Holmes managed to keep it together. At the end of the day, however its great to know that the two are keeping things civilized for Suri’s sake. Lets just hope other celebrities can take a note out of their book and apply it to their own break ups.
