Johnny Depp to Net $75 Million From Pirates 5
Originally introduced in 2003 with Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Pirates has gone on to become one of the most popular Disney franchises of all time. While the story itself is a great one, the star studded line up most likely helped quite a bit in making Pirates what it is today. That line up included, for at least the first 3 movies, Orlando Bloom, Keira Nightly and of course, Johnny Depp. However, both Knightley and Bloom said goodbye with the release of the 4th film but the producers managed to pick up Penelope Cruz alongside everyone’s favorite pirate Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp).
Not much has been said about the 5th installment of the franchise but just about everyone has agreed that it is in fact coming. Johnny Depp is said to yet again be making an appearance as Jack Sparrow which shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering the success of previous movies. This time, however, is seems that Depp is looking to make out better than ever before. Our sources tell us that Johnny Depp is expected to make a massive $75 million from Pirates 5.
As of now this number has not been confirmed but it wouldn’t come as much of a surprise at all. Not only is Johnny Depp one of the biggest names in Hollywood but he has basically become synonymous with the Pirates of the Caribbean Brand.
