Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez NOT Breaking Up

Rumours have been swirling around the internet for the past few days saying that Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have broken up. The rumours have said that while away from home, shooting for her upcoming film The Getaway, Selena had drifted apart from Justin and that they were going to start seeing other people. I think most of us are happy to hear that this is entirely FALSE and that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are not breaking up (at least as far as we know).

The rumours are also based around a recent appearance of Justin Bieber on the Today Show. During the interview with Matt Lauer, Justin avoided mentioning Selena even when asked questions about how his new album related to his relationship. When asked whether the love songs on the album were about Selena Gomez, he dodged the questions and steered the conversation towards other subjects. While some tabloids wondered if this suggested that the two had broken up, it was later confirmed that Justin avoided talking about Selena for the duration of the interview because he wanted to focus the attention on his new album, rather than having the focus of the interview on his relationship. After taking another look at the interview, it is clear that when asked questions about Selena, Justin’s face lit up and he smiled, suggesting that the earlier reports were way off.

After being away from each other for weeks due to their busy schedules, the two were reunited on June 12th and spent the evening together. Everyone who was worried that the two had broken up can calm down and rest assured that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are still together.
