Charlie’s Angels actress Minka Kelly recently spoke to Cosmopolitan about her late mother Maureen Dumont Kelly and this is what we can tell you about Maureen..
Maureen Dumont Kelly died on December 4, 2008 when she lost her battle to colon cancer at age 51, her daughter actress Minka was by her side just like she always have been. Maureen met and felt in love with former Aerosmith guitarist Rick Dufay, who joined the band in the 80’s as a replacement for Brad Whitford.
Mauren Dumont Kelly was born on December 20th, 1956 in Whittier, California. She gave birth to her daughter on June 24th, 1980 in Los Angeles, California. Maureen and Rick didn’t stay together her daughter once said she was raised by Maureen her father wasn’t around but it wasn’t because he didn’t want to but because her mother wanted to live her life ion the fast lane. Maureen and Minka moved frequently until they settle in Albuquerque, New Mexico where her boyfriend worked selling tamales on his car.
Last year when Kelly was selected Sexiest woman alive by Esquire magazine she spoke about her the many unusual jobs her mother had, the one she did most of her life was a a exotic dancer a stripper she said, because of her schedule Maureen would waked her up in the middle of the night to go grocery shopping, or how she would asked her to skip school and go out with her..
“My mom lived a fast life. It was all about what we could do to have fun with nothing. She — for most of my life, she was a dancer. An exotic dancer. She was a stripper. Um, so she would come home at like three, four o’clock in the morning, and sometimes she would have a really great night, and so she would wake me up in the middle of the night and we’d go to Ralphs and go grocery shopping. And that was so much fun. We’d have the whole grocery store to ourselves, and we would have a blast and buy a hundred dollars in groceries. And it was just the best day ever. The best day.”

Maureen did not have any sisters. Minka could not be your niece. I knew Maureen since we were teenagers. Maureen Kelly is a commonname, wrong Maureen.
im trying to trace a maureen kelly who travelled europe in 1979 together with signwriter and rally racer martin pretorius from south africa. she then was 23, now she would be 55. She had a brother named jon jon and her father had links with mcdondal. plese reply. thanks
This Maureen did not have a brother named Jon Jon or a father with ties to McDondal. Sadly, she died in 2008 drom cancer. She was a close friend of mine since we were teenagers and I miss her. Strange you wrote this on December 20,that was Maureen’s birthday.
