Sylvester Stallone Appears In Public After Son’s Death

Hollywood action icon Sylvester Stallone, famously known as Rambo made his first appearance in public since his son was found dead as a result of suspected overdose. The action star was set to make an appearance during the premiere of the long-awaited action movie, The Expendables 2 alongside fellow stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Scott Adkins and Dolph Lundgren.

Regarding the death of his son, the 66-year-old muscle-bound star said, “This is such a great loss and it will be felt forever in our lives.” Stallone was in the company of his fellow Hollywood action stars as he answered questions from the ever-curious paparazzi.

After the press conference, Dolph Lundgren and Jason Statham had the chance to pose with semi-automatic weapons in front of the famous Olympic Rings attached to the Tower Bridge in London. The movie is set to be premiered last night and just like the Expendables 1, the second part promises to be action-packed. The first film was an instant hit and according to the directors, there are plans to release the Expendables 3 where Nicolas Cage will be expected to feature.

According to its producer, Avi Lerner, there are plans to bring more stars to feature in the 3rd part of movie. The shortlisted actors include, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes, Clint Eastwood and many others. Lerner also revealed that even as top stars will be added in the Expendables 3, the existing ones will still have a role to play thus making the storyline bigger and better. The expendables 2 is expected to be an instant hit judging from the success of its predecessor.
