Amanda Mandy Teefey Is Selena Gomez Mother
Selena Gomez was forced to cancel two concerts, the reason were family related, today we learn that is was because of her mother 35 year-old Mandy Teefey suffering a miscarriage. Would you like to learn more about Selena’s mom Mandy Teefey?
Selena Gomez’ Mother full name is Amanda Dawn Mandy Cornett, she was born in Ector, Texas on April 16, 1976 to Debbie Jean Gibson and David Michael Cornett. Mandy went to South Grand Prairie High School. At age 15 she met Ricardo Joel Gomez.
Mandy was just 16 when on July 22, 1992 she gave birth to her daughter Selena in Prairie Texas, Mandy and Ricardo split up in 1997 when her daughter was 5. Mandy and her family were very well known in their home town, even more with Mandy appearing at local theater plays. Amanda or Mandy became Mandy Teefey on 18 May 2006 when she marry 32 year-old Brian Teefey from Detroit, that same year Mandy funded her own production company July Moon Productions”" where her hubby serves as vice-president.
Mandy and Selena and Brian relocated in Los Angeles when she got a role at Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place in 2007. Some of Mandy’s work includes her role as special makeup effects artist in the 2003 film Pale Blue Moo, the next year Mandy Teefey appeared as assistant director and unit production manager in Blue October: Argue With A Tree and in 2006 she was a finaling coordinator in Ant Bully.
On November 25th 2011, Mandy’s famous daughter went to her twitter account where she tweeted about Mandy’s pregnancy news..
“Momma and Brian are finally letting me share the news… My mommys carrying my baby brother or sister :) I’m the happiest girl in the world! ”
Sadly, on December 19th it was reported that Mandy suffered a miscarriage, Selena cancelled two gigs and run to her mother’s side.

i am so sorry selena and family i am selenas biggest fan i love her and when i heard the news i was at school and i started crying right there and i am praying that they are ok i did not feel good at all i didnt even want to eat i am broken knowing this has happened her and her family i love selena and she is my role model i will always look up to her….
I’m so sad I cant belive this happened I just wished I could of done something to prevent it from happening!I look up to Selena and I always will no matter what!
