Meet Daisy Rebecca Lowe or just Daisy Lowe she is Gavin Rossdale’s daughter with former friend and one night lover Pearl Lowe, Daisy is a model who is about to strip from her clothes for the September issue of Playboy. Check out her story, pics ad video below
Daisy Lowe’s mom Pearl a former singer at Powder and Lodger, now a fashion designer. Back on 1988 she was living with New Yorker dietitian Bronner Handwerger who Daisy thought to be her father, Pearl described their relationship as tempestuous, one day looking for comfort she turned to her dear friend Gavin Rossdale, one thing lead to another and they ended up sleeping together that was in April, 1988 after that she found out she was pregnant she mentioned it to Gavin, but the chances the baby was his were very few, they used protection during that one night together, so the baby’s father was more likely to be Bronner from whom she separated just a year after Daisy was born on January, 1989.
At age 6 Daisy’s mother started dating Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey, who later became the father of her half siblings Alfie (14), Frankie (12) and Betty (6); her mother and stepfather got married on December 4, 2008.
Daisy Rebecca Lowe was born on January 27, 1989 until that day up to the day she was 14 she believe Bronner was her father but after blood test revealed neither her mother or him had her same blood type she confronted her mother about her father’s real identity, the story went like this….
When Daisy was 14 she wanted to relinked with her father (Bronner Handwerger) or who she believed to be her father after all she was hoping to go to the U.S for college, having family near sounded like a good thing to have, what better person that her father? so she search for him he was a holistic doctor at that time, so she called him and he met with her in the U.K while her mother was away, the meeting was a whole disappointment. Moving on one day on April, 2004 her mother mention she was planning to start a diet so Daisy suggested Bronner’s blood group diet, according to him there is a diet for each blood type so Daisy was type “O” Bronner wasn’t so Pearl should also be type ‘O’, but instead of loosing weight she gained, after taking a blood test to see why that happened they discovered that the diet didn’t work because she was blood type “A”, Daisy got frustrated and said that either the blood test was wrong, or Pearl was not her mother or Bronner her father so which was it? at that point was when her mother told her that Gavin the man who she grew up to see as her godfather was her father, but until that day no paternity test had been made.
What Daisy didn’t know was that Gavin called her mother and Danny and suggested the DNA test, the reason he was already married to Gwen, they wanted to start a family so he wanted to come clean, and the issue that he might be Daisy’s father still hunted him, Pearl called Gavin to schedule the paternity test but got no response. She never tried to called him again, but that changed after Daisy found out and demanded to know if Gavin was her father or not, ironically Gavin refused to take the test only to agreed to it after two months where their lawyer battled about the matter.
The test proved that Gavin Rossdale was indeed Daisy Lowe’s father, but he lost touch with her, she spend a lot of time suffering but it all helped her to grow up and carry on with her life, we have seen pictures of Daisy with her half brother Kingston Rossdale, her father once said he is respectful about the relationship with his eldest daughter Daisy, I wonder what Gavin thinks about Daisy posing in the September issue of Playboy???
Daisy Lowe’s love life includes Mark Ronson, Will Blondelle, Sam Voulters, DJ Danny Shamone and lately Doctor Who actor Matt Smith.
As a model this stunning young woman had landed in many fashion Magazines like Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, i-D, Esquire, French Revue, W; became the spokes model for lingerie company Agent Provocateur, Converse, Urban Outfitters catalog and Marc by Marc Jacobs; has been in the runway for C’N'C Costume National show, Burberry, Vivienne Westwood, last year Daisy released a jewelry line with Swarovski Crystallized. Her former model agencies are Women Management in New York, Select Management in London since 2009 until this day she is part of Next Models.
