Paris Jackson Ready to Make it On Her Own

Paris Jackson, only daughter of the legendary Michael Jackson, says she’s ready to enter the world of show business. Being a Jackson, it’s only natural that she has musical talent. However, 14-year-old Paris has made it clear that she wants to make it on her own – she doesn’t want to live in her father’s shadow.

Paris is concerned that people will believe that Michael Jackson is the main reason for her success. She wants to be able to prove that she has her own talents and she wants to be recognized for them. She has faced a substantial amount of backlash from the public, as well as her own family. As a matter of fact, Janet Jackson is highly against Paris’ desire to enter show business. La Toya Jackson, on the other hand, is fully supporting Paris and her talents, and is constantly encouraging her.

At the same time, Paris Jackson is still trying to find her own style and identity. She has a unique personality and is finding it difficult dealing with the cliques in her school. In the October 2012 issue of Glamour magazine, Paris told interviewers, “I want to be my own person. The clique in my class, they don’t like me or my friend because we’re outside of the box. Because we’re not copycats.” Yet despite this, Paris still has remained strong and has advised other young girls to do the same, by ignoring any bullies and peer pressure.Will we be seeing more of Paris Jackson in the public soon?
