Tammy Jo Atkins is Country Singer Rodney Atkins Wife
Today the news about country singer Rodney Atkins allegedly trying to smothered his wife Tammy Jo Atkins hit the web, He then filed for divorce. Let’s find out more about Tammy since we know already to much about her estranged husband.
Some of you might be quite familiar with whom Rodney Atkins is, but just in case let me tell that he is the 42 year-old country singer from Knoxville, Tennessee. He is the adopted son of Margaret and Allan Atkins. Atkins attended at Powell Valley High and Tennessee Tech.
In 2006 he was nominated at the Academy of Country Awards for top New Male Vocalist which e actually won, his wife is Tammy Jo Atkins who might be sort of a familiar face to you for her role with Proactive’s creators Dr. Rodney and Dr. Fields who invited Tammy to join them in their new venture where Mrs. Atkins serves as a R+F Independent Consultant.
Tammy Jo Atkins was born on February 6th, 1970 in Baxter, Tennessee. She attended at Upperman High School and graduated in 1998. Tammy met her soon to be hubby at college and got married on 1998, her son Elijah was born on 2001. Tammy has two older daughters, Lindsey and Morgan Herren from a previous relation. Tammy appeared on Rodney music video Farmer’s Daughter.
On December 15th we found that her husband of 13 years filed for divorce, the marriage was in trouble when on according to Tammy on November 21st, after some some heavy drinking from her husband he tried to smothered her with a pillow.
He was arrested and charged with domestic violence. He denies attacking his wife, a hearing in the divorce case is scheduled for December 20.

I ALWAYS thought Atkins was FULL of himself!! If you watch his interviews at CMAfest, all he did was complain about how long his fan club party took. Hmmmm- a little time for the millions for the ones who made him rich in the first place

How do u know she was full of s**t? Were you there w/them? He admitted to drinking and arguing w/her. Did he not.
