A young girl known as Tara Salahi has become a YouTube sensation due to her powerful voice when she sand Adele’s hit Someone Like You. Have you seen Tara’s Video?

Tara Salahi might be just 13 but like many other great singers like for example Christina Aguilera, her impressive voice amazed us all since she was a little girl at the Mickey Mouse Club, Tara is no exception sadly in Iran she hardly has any opportunities to become famous, not to mention that she is breaking the rules established in 1979.

The rule declared that that female singing voices corrupted male audiences. Female Iranian singers have been mute for years by the mullahs of the Iranian revolution, however when it comes to Tara the YouTube user said Tara is not breaking any rule, her video was posed on February 29th and has over 129.000 views already

Tara has been singing for a year already and is currently participating in an underground music movement (according to one writer she is defying Iran’s restrictions on women and Western music, and might get a hard punishment)

Tara Salahi lives in Tehran, Iran studies at Talash High School and speaks Farsi, Persian and English. Allegedly she is getting a lot of support back home and she doesn’t just sings Adele’s songs but also Christina Aguilera, the second video was posted on March 2nd. She sure is amazing! It will be great if Adele gives Tara a little help, right?
