Fred Willard may dodge criminal charges

Fred Willard may dodge criminal charges

Two day ago we reported that actor Fred Willard had been arrested and charged with lewd conduct, after being found in the Tiki adult theatre in Hollywood with his pants down.

According to the Los Angeles Attorney, prosecutors have decided that Willard’s arrest is eligible for an alternative sentencing program that will enable him to avoid formal criminal charges if he completes a series of counselling sources designed to help him with decision making as well as courses on sex-related crimes.

While this is good news for Willard, who obviously is happy that he will be able to avoid criminal charges, the damage has already been done. Only hours after his arrest was published by the media, Willard was fired from his job on PBS as the narrator for the TV show Market Warriors. PBS has stated that simply cannot employ someone who has demonstrated such a clear lack of good judgment.

Perhaps in addition to counselling, they should also teach him about a cool new technology… called the internet!
