Gail Porter Goes To Rehab, Again!
Gail porter has finally made the decision to fix her life. The mother of one announced that she has decided to go for rehabilitation in South Africa for the next three months. Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the 41-year-old TV diva expressed her fears regarding the decision, though she says it is one of the best decisions she has ever made in her life. Porter has been suffering from depression and alcohol addiction for many years.
Alleged suicide
Last year, she was admitted to Rehab after she allegedly overdosed with painkillers. There were reports that Gail Porter had tried to commit suicide through the painkiller overdose but when she was asked about the incident during the interview with The Sun newspaper, she replied, “It was an accident. I took the painkillers accidentally then I alerted the doctors myself. I wouldn’t try to kill myself, not even in a million years.” She narrated how she was depressed and that‘s why she took so many painkillers hoping to sleep; then she called the doctor to inform him about the painkillers.
No communication
As she heads back to Rehab, Gail will have to cope with some strict rules. She won’t be allowed to communicate with anyone from the outside world until she recovers. She won’t even be able to communicate with Honey, her 9-year-old daughter, except through Skype. But as she heads to Rehab in South Africa, she says that she isn’t worried about her daughter since she believes that her father, Toploader’s Dan Hipgrave, will take care of her.
According to Daniel Gerrard, founder of Addictionhelper.com, Gail will undergo various rehabilitation processes such as counseling, AA meetings, daily interaction and others. He expressed his optimism that she will recover fully and live a normal life once again. His hopes are based on the fact that Gail agreed to abide by the Rehab’s rules and polices for the better of her health. We wish her a quick recovery.
