Jessica Simpson Doing her Best to lose Weight
Like many women, Jessica Simpson has gained quite a bit of weight as result of her pregnancy. While she gave birth on May 1st of this year, she has yet to lose the weight that she has put on during her pregnancy, and is now vowing to do her best to shed the pounds. The 31 year old, who gave birth to Maxwell Drew on May 1st has stated that she has been known for someone who goes on “yo-yo diets” and is doing her best to change that. Near the end of May, Jessica Simpson decided that she would join Weight Watchers to help lose the baby weight.
Not only has Jessica Simpson decided to join the Weight Watchers program, but she has also become a spokesperson for the company, a common trend among celebrities who are attempting to lose weight. Some have speculated that the contract requires that Jessica lose a specific amount of weight during a pre-defined period of time, however both Jessica Simpson and Weight Watchers are denying that claim. According to Weight Watchers, Jessica is being treated just like any other Weight Watchers client, and they are going to be with her every step of the way.
Thus far Jessica has yet to lose a substantial portion of the weight she gained during her pregnancy, however Weight Watchers, as well as Jessica Simpson herself have stated that she is early in the program and she can expect to see better results in the coming months. Weight Watchers has further stated that losing weight is a gradual process that doesn’t happen overnight, so we shouldn’t expect any instant results with Jessica or anyone else.
