Katie Holmes and Suri in Minor Car Accident
Just when you thought that you had heard it all in regards to Katie Holmes, she’s in the news again. For a change, this time its not about her divorce from husband Tom Cruise, but rather its a seemingly random event that could have turned out far worse.
On Monday night, while driving along West 33rd Street in Manhattan, near the intersection with Sixth Avenue, Katie Holmes and daughter Suri were side swiped by a garbage truck. At the time of the accident, Katie Holmes’ Mercedes was being driven by her chauffeur. Katie and Suri were seen in the back seat of the vehicle.
The accident occurred when the pair were on their way home from Suri’s gymnastics class at the Chelsea Sports Complex in Chelsea Piers. They had driven about 15 blocks, when the small accident occurred out of nowhere. Luckily no one was hurt, and the damage to the vehicle was relatively minor. Nevertheless, it was just another incident in the seemingly never ending series of events that has happened recently in Katie Holmes’ life. First she files for divorce, then she was stalked by members of the Church of Scientology and now she’s been in a car accident. We hope her luck picks up in the next few days, but with the way its been going, I’m sure we can expect some more exciting news as the entire Katie Holmes/Tom Cruise divorce moves forward.
