Matt Smith Refuses To Join Twitter
Matt Smith has revealed that we won’t join twitter simply because; he doesn’t like it at all. The “Doctor Who” actor explained that after joining Twitter for a day, the site did not impress him as expected. His fans have been urging him to join the social networking site but according to him, he does not like it. His fellow co-stars Arthur Darvill and Karen Gillan are already on Twitter but according to Matt, he does not have any plans to join the social networking site anytime soon.
He first tried the site in San Diego and found out that he didn’t enjoy it. “I tried it for a day and it is just not my cup of tea,” he said during an interview.
The 29-year-old actor is also said to avoid the Internet after being advised by Steven Moffat, the show’s producer. It is said that after Matt took over the role from David Tennant back in 2010, he was advised to stay out of the numerous “Doctor Who” forums and websites on the internet. It seems that the actor took the advice to heart.
“I never browse the internet. Steven told me to avoid it in whatever I do,” said the actor. A few weeks from now, Matt is expected back on TV screens playing the role of the Doctor in the latest episode known as the “Asylum of the Daleks.”
