Flavor Flav Arrested for Assault
On Wednesday, Oct 17th 2012, 90′s rap star Flavor Flav was arrested in Las Vegas and charged with assault and battery. The arrest involved Flavor Flav’s fiancee of eight years.
At around 3:30am on Wednesday, Las Vegas police responded to a call from a home in the south side of the city. Flavor Flav, who’s real name is William J Drayton was arguing with his finance, had who called the police after the two got into an argument over cheating allegations. The argument quickly became physical when Flavor Flav allegedly attacked his fiancee with a weapon.
According to the police report, Flavor Flav grabbed his fiancee (Elizabeth Trujillo) and threw her to the ground multiple times. At one point an earring was ripped out of her ear. The altercation escalated further when Trujillo’s son began wrestling Flav away from his mother. At this point, Flav grabbed two large kitchen knives and started chasing Trujillo’s son around the living room, threatening to kill him. It was at this point that the police were called.
Trujillo’s teenage son managed to protect himself by locking himself in the bedroom of his sister, at which point the police soon arrived to take Flavor Flav into custody.
