Hulk Hogan’s Sues Gawker Over Sex Tape Leak & Gets Denied

If you’ve been following Hulk Hogan’s recent debacle you’re sure to be well aware of the stress it’s inevitably causing. For those of you who haven’t been following the heat, it came to light not too long ago that a sex tape starring Hogan and Heather Clem – the former wife of Hogans’ friend DJ Bubba the Love Sponge – had leaked. At the time, there was no word on whether or not the sex tape would actually be released to the public. Following the leak, rumors began cropping up that said Hogan was considering cashing in on the sex tape due to various adult entertainment companies offering him large paychecks for exclusive rights. However, it now seems that despite Hogan reportedly denying the offers, the public will be getting a glimpse of the sex tape regardless due to, you guessed it, a leak.

As of now, to our knowledge, the sex tape has not been posted in full on any website. Why this is we aren’t exactly sure but would assume it has something to do with Hogan making a pledge to sue anyone who releases it to the public. Much to Hogan’s dismay, in typical Gawker fashion and despite this legal threat, Gawker has gone ahead and posted a minute long preview of the sex tape. Quickly following the video being posted, Hogan asked courts to force Gawker to remove the tape immediately.

Unfortunately, at least for Hogan, it’s been made known today that the courts will not be asking Gawker to remove the tape – at least, not now. According to our sources, courts have found that Hogan has not provided enough proof that “immediate and irreparable injury, loss or damage” will result from having the video up before letting Gawker speak. This, however, does not mean that Gawker is in the clear as Hogan presses forward with the lawsuit. How exactly this case will wrap up we haven’t a clue but as always, we’ll keep you posted so stay tuned.
