Octo-Mom Recieves Heat for Questionable Parenting
It seems that no matter how hard she tries Nadya Suleman , otherwise known as Octomom, just cannot stay out of trouble. If she’s not accruing hate from legions of critics in regards to her 8 children, she seems to be getting her house foreclosed on or filing for bankruptcy. Luckily, thanks to some adult appearances and other questionable business ventures, Suleman seems to be doing just fine for the time being. That is, until one of her nanny’s came forth to shed some light on some questionable parenting techniques.
If you haven’t heard, what her nanny had to say about Suleman’s regard for her children is quite alarming. According to the nanny, one of Suleman’s sons would take one of her daughters in seclusion and began touching her. It wasn’t exactly stated but we can only assume that “touching her” meant in a sexual way. After bringing light to this, Suleman responded by saying not to worry about it and to just ignore it. We’re not lawyers but we can only assume that allowing one of your children to do this to another child (be it yours or not) would constitute child abuse. However, it seems that the story may not exactly be complete or perhaps we are just rushing to conclusions.
After attention was brought to these questionable behaviors, critics quite obviously caused an uproar. This uproar caused Suleman’s current nanny to come forth and dispute these claims (or so it seems. According to the current nanny, Suleman is “a good mom” and has “more patience than anyone else [she] knows”. Well that’s good, but what does it say about the allegations towards Suleman’s previous neglect that could have resulted in sexual abuse?
Not much, in fact (as far as we’re concerned) Suleman’s current nanny steered completely clear of talking about the matter. Does this mean that they are true? We certainly hope not, but we haven’t a clue. As always, we’ll keep you posted as more information is made known.
