Police Issue Warrant for Cuba Gooding Jr.
Cuba Gooding Jr is a wanted man. The 44 year old award winning actor is accused of shoving a female bartender twice. The incident happened early on Tuesday morning in a bar along raucous Bourbon Street. According to an eye witness, the actor suddenly became furious when fellow customers wanted to take photos with him. A female bartender tried to calm him down but unfortunately, he allegedly shoved her twice.
According to police spokeswoman Hilal Williams, the actor had not yet been arrested by Tuesday afternoon. New Orleans police department also confirm that they were in talks with Gooding’s personal attorney, Mr. Peter Toumbekis from New York. Reports indicate that Gooding is in the process of taking the appropriate action regarding the incident. Speaking to Reuters, Mr. Toumbekis confirmed that the famous actor will comment about the incident at a later date.
When the incident took place, Gooding was in New Orleans shooting his latest film, “The Butler.” Gooding is famous for his role in the film “Jerry Maguire” produced in 1996. He played the role of an arrogant but somehow loyal professional footballer. This movie won top awards after its debut. He also won the Academy Award as the Best Supporting Actor, Golden Globe Award for the Best Supporting Actor and many others.
