Tom Cruise Getting Flak From Fellow Scientologists?

Tom Cruise Getting Flak From Fellow Scientologists?

As you’re sure to know, Tom Cruise is a follower of Scientology. If you’re not aware of what Scientology is, you’re out of luck, because we aren’t even really sure what it is. From our very limited understanding, Scientology is a seemingly offbeat religion that has gotten quite a bit of negative reception over the years. Despite this negative reception, many different big name stars have been known to practice the religion: Tom Cruise being one of them.

Unfortunately for Cruise, things haven’t been all daisies when it comes to following Scientology. Some people have even gone on record as saying Scientology is one of the leading causes of his split with former wife Katie Holmes. If you’ve been paying attention to the Cruise/Holmes debacle you’ll know that while Cruise still supports Scientology, Holmes does not. Additionally, it’s also been said that their daughter Suri will not be a follower of the Church. As of now, we’ve heard nothing negative from Cruise in regards to this decision – something we assumed may be to be getting him quite a bit of hate from the Church itself.

And it seems we assumed right as according to recent reports, Tom Cruise is receiving negative reception from the Church of Scientology due to his continued support of Suri. Apparently, the Church expected Cruise to completely shun his daughter for not being a follower of Scientology. I don’t’ know about you – but if that doesn’t spell crazy, I don’t know what does.

This may not be all bad, however, as it should shine some light on Cruise’s positive mentality. Up until now many have questioned his intentions in regards to his belief in the Church of Scientology. Should these rumors be true, this is sure to net Cruise some much needed positive reception. But honestly, expecting him to go against his own daughter who isn’t even a teenager yet? Ridiculous.
