Usher Cancels Ex’s Saks Fifth Ave Card, Gets Held in Contempt

Usher Cancels Ex’s Saks Fifth Ave Card, Gets Held in Contempt

Usher has been a big name in the music industry for much of the 90’s and remains a star to this day. Not only has he sold millions upon millions of albums but he is also credited with discovering Justin Bieber – the teenage pop star adolescent males everywhere love to hate. However, while Usher has had a very successful career things have gotten quite tough as of late. If you’ve been paying attention, you’ll know that Usher’s step son recently passed away. The accident occurred when the family was vacationing at a lake house. Usher’s stepson was tubing in the lake when a family friend on a jet ski collided with him. Originally it was only said that the boy was in critical condition but not long after it was announced that he had in fact passed away.

The hardships aren’t stopping there for Usher as the R&B singer’s name has once again begun appearing in headlines. This time, however, the incident isn’t much of a heart breaking one at all for anyone besides Usher’s bank account.

It was recently announced that Usher is being held in contempt of court. What is he being held for, you ask? Canceling the Saks Fifth Avenue credit card in his name that he gave to his ex wife, Tameka Raymond. According to reports, Usher closed the card last year after giving it to Raymond. Raymond’s argument is that she requires the card to properly do her job as a stylist which seems a bit ridiculous to us, but what can you do? Furthermore, Usher is also being ordered to pay Raymond $1,300 for a nanny that she has apparently been requesting for quite some time.

Will the troubles end for Usher anytime soon? Probably not especially considering the amount of fight left in Tameka Raymond and their ongoing custody battle. We’ll keep you posted.
