Justin Bieber Caught Speeding at 100MHP

Now a days everyone who’s anyone knows of Justin Bieber. In just a few years the 18-year old Canadian has went from being an unknown YouTube musician to one of the biggest names in the business. However, what’s arguably more impressive is the nearly flawless track record Bieber has managed to maintain ever since hitting it big. Sure, the singer has had some minor slip ups here and there including rude gestures to paparazzi but otherwise he’s stayed generally clean. Until now, that is.

As of late, Biebers once spotless image in the public eye is slowly deteriorating. Though it may not be at the rate at which Lindsay Lohan’s image took a nosedive but it’s definitely something to take note of. In fact, some publications have gone as far as predicting that Bieber may have his own Lohan/Spears-esque meltdown quite soon.

Hot on the heels of news that he may be having some relationship issues with his significant other, Selena Gomez, Bieber has found himself in the news once again but this time for something a bit less pretty. As the story goes, Bieber was pulled over by state troopers after reaching speeds of up to 100 MPH on the freeway in his chromed out Fisker Karma. According to the star, paparazzis obnoxiously following him at high speeds caused the chase which was later confirmed by state troopers. But, even so, this can’t excuse such reckless behavior. However, while such a stunt would likely net one a hefty ticket, Bieber got off generally scott free. In fact, he walked (or should we say, sped) away from the incident with a simple warning – something that has outraged quite a few.

The story behind Bieber and the high speed persuit is still unfolding but we can’t help but wonder; is this the beginning of the end for Justin Bieber’s flawless public perception? If these antics continue, will parents still be fine with their teenage daughters idolizing the pop star? We’ll have to wait and find out. Stay tuned.
