Lauren Scruggs- Model, Fashion Blogger, LOLO and Gossip Girl
This is a sad story Lauren Scruggs, a beautiful, talented, kind and very special woman accidentally walked to a spinning plane propeller, loosing her hand and suffering severed damage to her face, shoulder and head.
23 year-old Lauren Scruggs from Plano Texas is a fabulous fashion model, blogger, she was actually born in Redondo Beach, she is a fashion model, creator of LOLO Magazine and blog, she also worked in the fashion department at Gossip Girl.

Lauren Scruggs terrible accident happened on Saturday night in a private airport in McKinney when she took off a two engine plane (r 2011 Aviat Husky A-1C-180) walked accidentally into the front of the propeller. Lauren’s left hand, head, and left shoulder were struck, she was rushed to Parkland Hospital where she underwent multiple reconstructive surgeries in her face and shoulder, unfortunately she loss her hand.
On December 4th and 5th her family posted an update on Lauren’s condition…
“Lauren just got out of surgery! After working on her left eye for over 5 hours, the doctors were able to repair the globe of her eye completely. As of 4AM this morning, the doctor did not believe the eye could be salvaged. By the time he went into surgery at 11AM, there was miraculous healing, only to be explained by our True Healer. Until she wakes up, we will not know if she will have sight out of that eye, but we are praying for full vision!
Lauren’s surgery went very well this morning. She is now resting in ICU with the family. She is able to open her right eye to see while her left eye is still bandaged. Please continue to pray for the vision of her left eye, as we will not know the status of her sight for some time.
As Lauren begins to wake up, she is learning the extent of her injuries. Brittany was able to explain to her that she was in an accident, sustaining multiple injuries. She seemed to acknowledge what Brittany explained and confirmed it with a hand squeeze. Please pray for Lauren’s emotional strength, as well as Jeff, Cheryl, Brittany, and Shaun’s, as they begin the long journey of recovery.

I know in my heart she will be ok, it may take so time but I just know she is going to recover. I don’t know what it is but for some reason when I saw the news I instantly felt a connection between us, we are all devine sparks of the Universe and we will continue to be connected.
i really hope she gets better. she is such a beutifull girl eaven with out her hand a scars on her body. any guy would be lucky to have her
