The lawsuit was filed on August 17 under case number BC443221, states that the July 19, 2010, 29 year-old William Levy allegedly forced Karla Alvarez, 17, to perform oral sex by taking advantage of the great admiration she felt for him.

“On July 19, 2010, through lies and deceit, Levy, with the help of several members of his entourage, the applicant appealed to Alvarez at Hilton Hotel in Glendale, California. Alvarez, who was infatuated with Levy-star internationally renowned for his work on soap operas in Spanish, wanted his autograph. During the course of their conversation in the restaurant at the Hilton, Levy Alvarez invited to a private room (…) The defendant then forced the plaintiff to perform oral sex on him, “

Later the same site unveiled Levy’s response say that the August 11, six days before being sued for less than the alleged sexually assaulted, he filed a lawsuit in Miami federal court against Karla Alvarez, her mom Ana Saucedo, and their lawyer, alleging that they conspired to extort him for the the amount of $ 950,000.

The lawsuit claims that Alvarez’s lawyer, Steven Lerman, Levy threatened Levy to talk about the case of an alleged sexual assault to the media, damaging his public image, unless it agreed to pay that amount. Levy said that all allegations of the Karla against him: assault, touching offensive, emotional harm and unlawful deprivation of liberty, are fabricated and completely false.

Demand for Levy details how he met Karla Alvarez, who told she was 19 at that time. At 2:00 am on July 19, he was awakened by one of the producers of the play who invited him for drinks at the same restaurant where he had dined. Finally, at 2:30 arrived at the restaurant, another producer of the play and Karla Alvarez were present.

After the drinks, Karla Alvarez went to talk with him. At the end of the night, one of the producers, Alvarez and the Levy went to his room at the Hilton Levy in order to wait for Karla’s shuttle. Karla finally left the room at 4:00 am.

Two days later, on July 21, Levy learned that Alvarez had filed charges against him alleging that the actor knew she was 17 when the alleged incident of sexual assault took place. William lawsuit against Karla stated that her lawyer is aware that all the allegations, including the part where he allegedly infected Karla with a sexually transmitted disease, are false and there is no evidence to corroborate them. Levy asked for $10 million in compensatory and punitive damages, alleging extortion, civil conspiracy, infliction of emotional distress, wrongful interference with economic advantage and tortious deceit.

“On Wednesday, July 21, 2010, plaintiff was informed that defendant Alvarez had filed criminal charges against him for nonconsensual oral copulation and batter on a minor. Defendant Alvarez claimed that Levy knew she was seventeen (17) years old while she allegedly performed oral copulation on him. The allegations further state that Levy transmitted a sexually transmitted disease (hereinafter ‘STD’) to defendant Alvarez. All of these allegations are known to be false by defendant Lerman and Law Firm. None of these allegations were corroborated by the authorities nor is there any evidence which would support such allegations. The defendant Alvarez and defendant Lerman acted in concert and with deliberate malice to cause Levy harm by virtue of attempting to blackmail/extort him into a settlement for alleged acts defendants knew were fabricated and untrue”.
